COMPETITIVE: 254 KM
LIAISON: 123 KM
TOTAL FOR THE DAY: 378 KM

STAGE 1

T16 - AMBOSELI TO IREMITO 85 KM

The Organisers describe the stage as tricky and warn navigators to be on the ball. It consists of a big lugga crossing and ending with a spectacular flying finish over a blind brow.

GLEN EDMUNDS COMMENTS: Hi guys! The 85km stage completed in 50 minutes with top speed of 170 KPH…mega fast! Where’s my Porsche when I need it?

STAGE 2

T17 - TSAVO ROAD TO MANEATERS - 120 KM

The Organisers describe the stage as the longest endurance stage of the rally. It’s also a completely new stage and has never been rallied on before.

STAGE 3

T18 - NDI TO MAKTAU - 49 KM

The Organisers describe the stage as a relatively short one with easy navigation. Includes a very fast section with wash aways.

GLEN EDMUNDS COMMENTS: Last section of the day. We did 49km in 29 minutes with an average speed of 102kph. Our top speed was 166kph. It was a good section but we were slowed at the end by a water truck on the road which proceeded to dust us for 3 kilometres! Grrrrr!
