Richard Burns

Richard Burns credited Glen Edmund’s local rally experience and expertise for helping him win the his first Safai Rally round of the World Rally Championship in 1998. Glen was “Richard’s eyes” in the chase helicoper and having rallied the routes many times himself could offer practical adivce. Richard went on to win the safar again in 2000 as well as the entire World Rally Championship in 2001. He was also instrumental in Mitsubishi winning the world manufactuerer’s title in 1998 as well as for Peugeout in 2002.

Tommi Mäkinen

Tommi is one of the most successful Word Rally Champion (WRC) drivers of all time with 4 time world rally champion as one of his many accolades.

In 2018, Tommi became the first person in the history to win a Championship as both a driver and as a team principal (Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT).

Glen was in the chase helicopter assisting Alisteri when he participated in the Safari Rally in 2002 for the Mitsubishi Ralli Art Team
